Three words we say out loud all the time. We just put them on a shirt.
The Beginning
It started with
a gap.
If you wanted to wear something Ugandan, your options were a tourist souvenir or a football jersey. Both fine. Neither something you would put on for a normal Tuesday.
We wanted the third thing — clothes good enough to wear on their own merit, that happened to say where we are from. Not loud. Not costume. Just present.
So we reduced the flag to what it really is: black, yellow, red. Three squares. Put it on heavyweight cotton, cut it properly, and left it at that.

The cotton
100% combed cotton at a weight that holds its shape. Heavy enough to feel like something, breathable enough for the equator. No blends that go shiny after three washes.

The print
Screen-printed, cured properly, and tested through the wash. The wordmark and the three squares should still be there long after the tag has faded.

The cut
Separate patterns for men, women and kids rather than one shape shrunk down. A tee should fit the person wearing it, not the size label.

start to finish.
Everything is cut, printed and packed in Kampala. Not because it makes a better story, but because it means we can walk in, look at a run, and reject it if the print is off.
It also means the money stays in the same economy you spent it in. That part matters to us more than it probably should.
